Dear readers,

I’ve been a fan of Heather Graham’s for decades. She has a knack for writing nailbiting thrillers chock full of fascinating characters who find themselves in unfathomable predicaments. To say she’s given me more than a few sleepless nights over the years would be a huge understatement. Her forthcoming novel, A Dangerous Game, is yet another example of why she is still at the top of her game. I hope you enjoy the following excerpt from this breathlessly paced new book.

Happy reading!

Spatchcock Chicken with Tomatoes and White Wine Sauce [RECIPE]

One of my favorite ways to prepare poultry of late is to spatchcock it, which means we remove the bird’s backbone and roast it flattened out in a large cast iron skillet. The addition of chardonnay and tomatoes adds a new dimension to the flavor profile that is simply yummy.  Continue reading “Spatchcock Chicken with Tomatoes and White Wine Sauce [RECIPE]”

Just beyond the rusty front gates lies a dragon from the past in Tiffany Reisz’s The Lucky Ones. (Photo courtesy Pexels)

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved getting lost in gothic suspense stories. Titles by Daphne du Maurier, Victoria Holt, Mary Stewart, and Phyllis A. Whitney have long lined my bookshelves, and I admittedly get a small thrill every time I revisit one of those volumes. So I’m always on the lookout for a new author of the genre. Tiffany Reisz is among the newest of those authors. So it is with great pleasure that I introduce her to you with this excerpt from her forthcoming book, The Lucky Ones.

Happy reading!
