Happy Bartender Appreciation Day! Although we’re stuck at home in the midst of a pandemic, it’s a great day to meander down memory lane and remember all those great watering holes we’ve discovered over the years as we travelled from one coast to the other. Each one of them holds wonderful memories for us, always punctuated by yummy drinks and a bartender with a liberal pour. Read on to find out if your favorites made the list.

Having lived on the coast, we are picky when it comes to seafood. In Massachusetts, we got really spoiled because New Bedford is still the top producing port in the U.S. when it comes to commercial fishing revenue, according to NOAA, so there was never a shortage of fresh-off-the-boat scallops, monkfish, lobster, summer flounder, black sea bass, and more. Now that we are back in Texas, finding quality seafood is a chore. However, that doesn’t mean it is impossible! Jathan And Heather Embrace The Magic Of New England [PHOTOS]

Moving always forces a family to make all kinds of adjustments, and our new home is only one of the many we are going to need to get used to. In January, we told you that we would be moving to New England with a job transfer. Well, in February we drove across the country, outrunning a winter storm that nipped at our heels the entire way.
