In this harrowing, adrenaline-pumping thriller, the world teeters on the brink of catastrophe. World leaders must come together, share intel and strategize if they are to bring down their mutual unseen enemy.

With peace hanging in the balance, Harvath finds himself working closely with both Asha Patel, a RAW Intelligence Service officer in India, and Vijay Chabra, an ex-Indian Police Service officer currently working for the US Embassy. Together, they must stop those who want to prevent an Asian NATO from being formed. Simultaneously, Harvath is also determined to hunt down the person who assassinated his friend and colleague, Eli Ritter.

Although this is Thor’s 21st Harvath adventure, he continues to peel back the layers on his iconic character. This time out, we even get to see some of Harvath’s humor, particularly as we watch the camaraderie play out between Scot and Vijay as they listen to R&B while riding in his green Jaguar. Seeing this side of Harvath’s personality offers us a glimpse into his soul, one which is refreshing and much needed consider his day job.

Mostly, however, Rising Tiger is a book filled with more tension, thrills, and plot twists than any of Thor’s previous bestsellers. From the first page to the last, the author is obviously determined to up the ante, delight his fans, and deliver a novel that is fresh, surprising, and guaranteed to keep readers white knuckling each suspense-packed page until the last one is turned. Rising Tiger is Brad Thor at his best!
