Netflix is bringing back some of our all-time favorite movies this October. Since we ditched cable and decided to stream television shows and movies via Netflix, we look forward to seeing how the service changes up its lineup each month. This October, some of our favorites return for what should be a very entertaining month.
Netflix is offering up more original content than ever, including new seasons of the creepy dramas The Fall and Black Mirror. Take a close look at the prison system with 13th and enter the world of sports with Mascots. And finally, Osgood Perkins pays homage to his father, Psycho star Anthony Perkins, with his new horror film, I am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the Woods.

One of the films we’re most looking forward to watching this month, however, is Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, starring Amy Adams and Christopher Waltz. This movie tells the true story of famed artist Margaret Keane and how her husband claimed credit for her work in the 1960s. We’ve heard good things about this one.
Adore a good love story? Check out romantic hits like the comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and everyone’s favorite disaster epic, Titanic.
But if you’re looking for something more serious, you may enjoy Sphere (based on the Michael Crichton book of the same name) or the seven-time Academy Award winning Patton, featuring George C. Scott.
Introduce the next generation to true film icons like Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Gregory Peck in Gentleman’s Agreement.
If you’re children of the 80s like we are, go down memory lane with Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Millennium, a sci-fi drama starring Kris Kristofferson and Cheryl Ladd.
Want more family fun? Check out Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin or Kung Fu Panda 3, which features an all-star cast of voices, including Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, J.K. Simmons, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu and Kate Hudson.
