As the title suggests, the Texas Library Association’s 2023 conference will strive to unite all library workers in the common purpose of providing knowledge, information, and services that will enhance individual growth and benefit the community the library serves. As always, they will deliver an extensive program that offers a giant menu of more than 300 educational sessions which focus on a multitude of topics that will help library employees grow in their careers, no matter which type of library they work for. Best of all, attendees can pick the sessions that best match their position, library, interests and professional goals.

ThrillerFest XVIII

ThrillerFest XVIII is the premier conference for thriller enthusiasts and hosts the industry’s most remarkable literary talent. Attendees have the opportunity to acknowledge them for their hard work and glean pearls of wisdom from their journey as authors. This year’s spotlight guests include Oyinkan Braithwaite (My Sister, the Serial Killer) and Jack Carr (The Terminal List). While at the conference, take a Master Class focused on your work and story. Attendees may also discuss their story ideas during QueryFest, learn about the craft of thriller writing during CraftFest, pitch your book to agents during PitchFest. Authors Charlaine Harris (The Serpent in Heaven) and Walter Mosley (Blood Grove) will also receive 2023 ThrillerMaster Lifetime Achievement Awards during the Thriller Awards Banquet.
