I have to say Her Dark Lies is one novel with so many twists and turns, I never knew who did what. Every time I turned a page in this whodunnit another secret was revealed, which totally threw me off my game and kept me guessing straight through to the end!

What I can tell you is that the Comptons are one messed up family, and none of them are truly what they appear. Add to them the beautiful setting, the intricate grounds and labyrinthine passageways within the castle, and the reader is unlikely to forget the heart-pounding danger and deceit hidden inside its many walls.

Her Dark Lies remind me of playing the board game Clue, but with layer after layer of family secrets. If you enjoy reading suspenseful mysteries filled with various plot twists at every turn, you won’t want to miss Ellison’s latest must-read thriller.
