Welcome To Haven House

We have settled into our new pad in Massachusetts and many of you have asked what our new home looks like. As a result, we filmed this short video for you to enjoy. Check out the guest quarters here at Haven House, because the room is ready for you when you visit the South Coast this summer.

We obviously still have some projects that we want to tackle, from creating more storage spaces in the house and completing our master bedroom upstairs to building our garden and establishing my home office.

Still, even though the task will take a bit to complete, we can’t wait for our visitors to arrive. We are near the water and live in a charming walking community that we know you’ll love. Stay tuned for more videos and details to come!

Your home oozes charm and is so welcoming already. Such craftmanship with all the wood!
I see LOTS of chiffarobes in your immediate future. LOL. My fondest memories are of the Chatham area during a girls only vacation years ago. Fell in love with the bookstores and coffee shops there. Not to mention the people. It’s all so very quaint and charming. Thanks for sharing. : )

Carrie, thanks for writing. It was so good to hear from you! And yes, you are correct of course in that storage is at a minimum I’m this house. We definitely must figure out some kind of solution. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons here. We love so many places here from the tiny restaurants downtown that dish up wood fired pizzas, melt-in-your-mouth ribs, fish & chips or burritos the size of a football to the sprawling old buildings like City Hall, the library and the numerous old churches, vast historic cemeteries and broad stretches of sandy beaches. Everywhere you look history tells a story and we are fascinated, eager pupils. Best of all, the people here are so warm and welcoming. We love it!
